Release Parimal Gore

More than 500 people hit the streets in the Bihali area on Thursday in Biswanath Chariali demanding immediate and unconditional release of Parimal Gore who was arrested for sharing a Facebook post criticizing chief minister Sarbanabda Sonowal and AASU.

Four local organizations jointly took out the rally where the protestors criticized the government for arresting the social activist. “It really sounds strange. The person who made the post was saved and Parimal only shared it. Why? We need to know ,”said a local Left activist.

With banners and play cards at their hands, the protesters shouted slogans demanding immediate and unconditional release of Gore who was allegedly arrested under SEC 120 and 505 IPC violating the laid down rules of law.
