A four-day prayer and healing festival, 2017 is underway at Titaguri Bhawanipur ground in Kokrajhar district. Huge follower and citizens are thronging in the festival to take part in the prayer festival.

The festival was organized by inter denominational Christian groups to provide prayer and healing facilities to the believers of the Christian as well common citizens. Different sub-committees are busy in their performing duty and responsible while making smooth organizing of the festival.

 Nearly 20,000 devotee and followers from different BTAD districts are attending the festival every day to take prayer and healing tradition for meeting healthy life among society.

 Nearly 250 volunteers are deployed to receive participant and guests in the festival venue. Rev Abel Jacob from Rajasthan is attending as chief speaker on the festival

James Basumatary, chief convenor of the festival organizing committee told Assam Times that the festival has been organized to promote peace and unity among all sections of communities through prayer and healing tradition. He said that all kinds of preparations have so far completed to receive the guest and participants from different districts. He said that the festival is giving a way to offer prayer and heal for getting peace and healthy life to the almighty god.
