Police on Wednesday arrested APSC member Assam Samedur Rahman on corruption charges. The special investigation team set up to probe the allegations of corruption caught Rahman from Rangia early in the morning a week after they arrested chairman Rakesh Paul. The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA-I) has warned against the steps to eulogize the outside personalities by installing their statues who have downplayed Assam and its people.
