Assam stands united against cancerous terrorism on Saturday two years after the gory serial blast that killed more than 100 killed and several others injured. People in large numbers came out to the streets to take solemn pledge to go all out against terrorism.
NETV is on a mass signature campaign against terrorism in Guwahati where more than 80 people were left dead in the incident. The popular satellite TV news channel, first of its kind in the north eastern region also launched similar campaign in other parts of the state. Two other TV news channels also launched programme to create terror awareness. The Assam government also held a brief function at the blast Ganeshguri site where Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi remembered the victims.
