In yet another bizarre incident that sends shockwave across the state, a man beheaded his wife in Dibrugarh district on Sunday. The accused, Polit Paik of Sessa Maoidamoni village under Barbaruah police station is believed to have killed his wife alleging extra martial affair. After killing his wife Pinky, he surrendered before the police. He said he caught his wife Pinky alias Rekha Paik in a compromising position with her lover.
