Anandaram Baruah award

Students who get computers as the Anandaram Baruah award are being seen carrying their respective computers at the Judges' Field in Guwahati on 04-02-08. Remarkably this year the Anandaram Baruah award is being awarded to the more than 12 thousand Rank and First division students of the last years HSLC Exam at a function in this very field on 2nd Feb 2008.

I dont know whats really the fact, but i have found most of the laptop not functioning properly. Can anyone tell me the exact configuration of the laptop which they get as an award for the student of Class X.

Poacing strikes KNP: Rhino shot dead

Poaching refuses to die down in Kaziranga. Another one-horned rhino was shot dead in the famed Kaziranga National Park on. The carcass was spotted on Tuesday morning at Burhapahar. But the poachers failed to take away the horn. ASHRC chief for rights in school syllabi

Assam Human Rights Commission on Tuesday urged introduction of human rights in the syllabus of primary and secondary school and at the college level. Bodo rally in Delhi against B’deshis
