ABSU holds youth motivation programme at Rangia College
GUWAHATI, October 1, 2026 — The Rangia unit of the All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) organised a Get-Together-cum-Youth Motivation Programme at the auditorium of Rangia College on Sunday to motivate students to pursue their goals and build a better future.
The day-long programme began with the hoisting of the ABSU flag, followed by the ceremonial lighting of a lamp. The youth motivation session was presided over by Dr Dampla Goyary, Head of the Department of Education, Rangia College.
Speaking on the occasion, Swmaosar Basumatary, Central Education Secretary of ABSU, said staying motivated was essential for achieving success in life. He lauded the organisers for conducting the programme, which he said would benefit students in general and the Bodo community in particular.
Nava Baro, entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Northeast Angels Network, spoke on the importance of entrepreneurship, startups and personality development in achieving success and preparing for job interviews.
Ranjan K Baruah, founder of North East Youth Foundation, spoke on the attributes required for success in life. He emphasised the importance of passion, hard work, learning different languages, team spirit and maintaining a positive attitude.
The programme was attended by Patneswr Boro, president of Kamrup District ABSU, and Jayanta Boro, general secretary of Kamrup District ABSU. Students from different communities and faculty members of the college also attended the programme and appreciated the organisers for conducting an interactive session.
A cultural programme was also organised as part of the event, with J.C. Narzary as the main attraction.
