Azim Hazarika Suworoni Silpi Bota to Zubeen Garg

The “Azim Hazarika Suworoni Silpi Bota”, introduced by Sivasagar Press Club in the memory of famous journalist Azim Hazarika will be given this year to the Bollywood singer from Assam , Zubeen Garg.

The award will be given to him on 21st July,2007 at Rabindra Bhawan, Guwahati. AASU General Secretary, Mr. Tapan Kr. Gogoi has accepted the proposal to be the chief guest there. Honourable Education minister, Mr. Ripun Baruah has also been invited as the Guest of Honour.
