BJP, AIUDF workers join Congress at Raha

The BJP and AIUDF of Raha LAC were on a back foot when more than 200 senior BJP and AIUDF leaders and workers joined the Congress at a function held at Chahari panchayat under Raha LAC on Tuesday. Apart from the BJP, AIUDF workers, 50 members from each of Gana Mancha and Tiwa Jatiya Aikya Mancha also joined the Congress under the leadership of Nirananda Konwar and Dharmasingha Patar. The joining of the BJP , AIUDF workers came as a great morale booster for the Congress at Raha at a time when the BJP and AIUDF waves are seen everywhere in this LAC
