Campaign ends for second phase

The stage is set. Silchar, Diphu, Karimganj are all set to go to the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls on Saturday.

The electioneering in the three constitutions came to an end as soon as the clock struck 5 in the evening on Thursday.

The second phase of polls covers Political heavyweights including BJP president Rajnath Singh and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi have campaigned in these constituencies.
