Citizen’s meet on flash-flood

Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) has organized a citizens’ meet of the flash-flood related problems faced by Guwahatians on Wednesday (July 2, 2014) in Guwahati Press Club starting at 1 pm. Understanding the intensity of the problem in Guwahati, which has snatched away the precious lives of many citizens till date, the JFA urged the people to participate in the meeting and extend their suggestions to deal with the situation.

A comprehensive report of the citizens’ meet will be sent to the concerned authorities for formulating polices and implementing those strictly to safeguard the prehistoric city, which has the potential to emerge a tourism, education and healthcare hub in southeast Asia.
