CM makes aerial survey

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi made an aerial survey in Goalpara and Kamrup(rural) district on Friday. But he could not land in the flood relief camps because of the inclement weather.

He had to wrap up his survey within 45 minutes. The chief minister has asked the authorities to ensure speedy relief and rescue operation in the worst-hit Goalpara and Kamrup(rural) district.

The recurrence of incessant rains is likely to worsen the flood waters on  Friday afternoon.
