CM orders probe into alleged scribe misbehaviour

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Monday ordered a probe following the alleged misbehaviour of a woman scribe by cops.

The CM asked Additional Chief Secretary Rajiv Bora to inquire into matter leading to the alleged misbehaviour of the scribe and submit report within one month and action will be taken following the finding of the probe.

This was ordered followed state wide protests by journalists’ bodies and other civil society since the incident occurred on Saturday.
