Dry Day declared in Barpeta

The Barpeta district Administration has declared dry day in Barpeta district under section 324(A) of 1945 Assam Excise Act regarding the situation of the second phase of Lok Sabha Election that will be held on 23rd April/09. According to this ban declared by Phanidhar Kalita, the district Magistrate of Barpeta, this order will be activated from April 21/09 (4pm) to April 23th/09 (4pm) and on 16th May/09, on the day of vote counting.
