Eid Ul Fitr celebrated at Dhupdhara

It was a day of prayers, feasting and togetherness on Tuesday as Muslims at Dhupdhara in Goalpara district celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan. The traditional greeting of Eid Mubarak echoed all around. Dressed in their finest, hundreds of Muslims gathered at the colourfully decorated prayerground. The eid prayer at Dhupdhara was led by Moulana Mufti Abdulla Rashidi. Eid was also celebrated in other parts of Goalpara district. Tankeswar Rabha, the Chief Executive Member of Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council had on Monday extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Inamul Ahmed, general member of RHAC, Najibar Rahman and Sajjad Gani, the president and the secretary  of Dhupdhara Muslim Society respectively also extended their warm greetings to the people of the district as well as state on the occasion.
