Heavy downpour hits Guwahati

A heavy downpour has disrupted normal life in Guwahati besides fueling the risk of floodwaters in the city. The rains which lashed the for nearly one and a half hour forcing traffic jam on the streets. Meanwhile, several low laying areas in Chandmari, Lachit Nagar, Zoo road, Anil Nagar and Nabin Nagar have been submerged by the rainwaters.
