Maharshi Vidya Mandir, Happy Child Shines in Environ Quiz

Happy Child School, Rehabari and  Maharshi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri become final winners in Group  A and B respectively in the People’s Friend Foundation’s  All Assam Open school ENVIRO QUIZ competition held on the occasion of World Environment Day on Wednesday at the District Library, Guwahati. Pranat Kashyp and probit Jyoti Kalita of MVM, Silpukhuri and Saurav dutta and Saurav Deka of Happy Child showed their extra ordinary talents and begged prize money of five thousand each alongwith many gift hampers and certificates.  Neelav Barman and Jupitara Das of MVM, Silpukhuri  begged second prize in the Group A.In the group B, hrishikesh Bordoloi and Dipjyoti Mahanta of  Gurukul Grammar school begged the second prize. The third position holders in groupA and B were Rittwick Sinha and Junaid Shafe of Don Bosco and Pradipta P Kalita and Kapish K Kashyap of Maria’s Public School, Birkuchi, respectively.  The Second and third position holder teams in each group got Rupees Three thousand and Two thousand respectively as cash prize. Professor Dilip Kumar baruah, who was the Quiz master of the ENVIRO QUIZ, gave away the awards to the winning teams along with Alaka goswami and sasank Goswami  of Arena Animation and writer Ditimoni Gogoi and artist Manjit Rajkhowa, Anchor Kankana Goswami. The Other winners and rank holders of the competition are Gurukul Grammar, Maria’s Public School, and don Bosco, Guwahati.
