Nagaon girl gangraped in Hojai

HOJAI: Amid simmering shock and anger over sexual crimes across the nation two miscreants allegedly gangraped a girl in Hojai before being dumped on the National Highway No 54 on Wednesday.

Local residents spotted the girl in dire straights in the morning who called up police and rushed her to the Nilbagan Model Hospital.

According to information, two youths took away the girl from Samoguri in Nagaon district on Tuesday and gangraped at night and dumped her by the roadside.

On receipt of the formal complaint, the Hojai police is looking for the duo who gangraped the girl.
