Scam in MDM scheme, Headmaster accused of graft

The Headmaster of Shahid Choudhury Primary School of Dakhin Debasthan ,in Nagaon district, Faijal Haque Laskar was accused of corruption in food grains allotment against the aforesaid school by the managing committee of that school.

According to the information received at Nagaon, the Headmaster was caught red handed while he was trying to sell the Mid-day- meal allotted rice in a fair price shop. The FPS owner was also charged by the public and School managing committee in this connection. The owner confessed that on the direction of Faijal Houqe, he was storing the rice for sale.

A case N/R – 969/2008,U/s 420/406 (IPC) has been filed at Sangkar Nagar lower court on October 10,2008 against Faijal Hoque Laskar. The Public and School managing committee have demanded the concerned authority to suspend the headmaster immediately.

It is necessary to be mentioned that the School managing committee and public have jointly launched an investigation against the headmaster since the past couple of days.
