The workshop was conducted by noted recitation artist Swapna Devi Nath, who introduced students to the fundamentals of voice modulation, pronunciation and expression. The training was held in two groups, with Avinash Bastab, magazine editor of the Sivasagar District Kabi Sanmilan, assisting as a co-trainer.

The event was attended by School Management Committee president Debajit Saikia, headmistress Marami Chaliha and members of the teaching staff.
