Uneasy calm in Gossaigaon

An uneasy situation is prevailing on Gossaigaon after unidentified miscreants shot at a BPF worker on Tuesday who succumbed to his injuries after a few hours.

Security forces have stepped up operation in the nook and corner of Gossaigaon to nab the culprits involved in the shoot out.

Ideitifeid as Mujibur Rahman, the BPF worker was shot at by the unidentified miscreants from a point blank range on Tuesday evening after he was on his way back to his residence.  Seriously injured Mujibur was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.
