Jangostiya Aikhya Manch

A delegation team of the Jangostiya Aikhya Manch,an umbrella organisation of non-Bodos will leave for New Delhi on August 3 next and meeting with Prime Minister and Home Minister to place about prevailing situation of BTAD region of Assam.

Motiar Rahman,General Secretary of the manch while talking exclusively to Assam Times said that the state government is totally failed while maitaining law and order in the region as the common publics are facing several hardships.

He said that Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi led Congress government in the state of Assam has totally failed to providing safe and security to the common peoples in the state,especially in BTAD region innocent peoples have to faced several hardhsips in their livings.He has allegged that though social organisation and various parties were intimated all situation on occasions to Chief Minister,yet CM has not been stepping any mesaures to maintaining any law and order in the region,of which why unwanted incidents have to occurred repeatedly among society.

He said that a delegation team of the manch will leave for New Delhi on August 3 next and would meet Prime Minister and Home Minister and to discuss about prevailing situation of BTAD region. He has slammed Chief Minister for his negligence about security mesaures to the publics in the state and demanded stern step from centre itself and held good governence in the council so as to meet healthy environment.

He has also expressed serious concern over the repeatedly arisen of unwanted situations in the council said it is due to the negligence of the government and main involved culprits should be nabbed and punished.

Rahman said that the manch will contest the coming council in its stand which is scheduled next year  and the manch will not be come in alliance with any party or organisation and hope that manch will win in large numbers,he added.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
