Simmering tension in Kokrjhar and Sonitpur have forced the authorities to clamp in definite curfew in both the districts where NDFB-S militants killed over 50 Adivasi people in five serial attacks on Tuesday. Additional forces have been deployed in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur to firmly deal with the situation. People in the trouble torn areas are keeping themselves confined to their homes while security forces are patrolling on the streets. Shops and markets, schools and colleges, banks and offices are remaining closed for an indefinite period. The authorities have further issued shoot at sight order against the miscreants.
