Storm lashes Barpeta

Over 500 families have been rendered homeless in Barpeta and Sorbhog after a storm lashed out the entire area on Monday.

The storm that lashed the area in the wee hours stayed for 30 minutes disrupted the surface communication uprooting trees and light posts on the roads.

The ASEB, BSNL workers have been trying to restore the normalcy. There is no report of any casualty in the storm.
