Opposition members of BTC from various party and organisations jointly demands equal distribution of rights and formation of TCLCC, VCDC involving elected representatives to look after all development affairs of the common publics in BTAD administration.
While, BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary assured of that he will talk with Principal Secretary of BTAD and party leaders about sharing of powers to the grassroots levels for smooth function of the development activities.
All 40 elected members from various party and organisations took oath office and secrecy in BTC Legislative Assembly House today in the first BTC session held at Assembly house chaired by Nerswn Boro,protem speaker.Tridip Daimary was selected as speaker and Nerswn Boro as deputy speaker in the house.BTC Chief Mohilary,deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary,PCDR leader Rwngwra Narzary congratulate and felicitated newly selected speaker and deputy speaker with Aronai in the house.
The opposition comprising of 19 members submitted a memorandum to Mohilary seeking formation of TCLLC,VCDC in the grassroot level to meet healthy spirit in bringing of good governance and demanded elected members should be given right to head the TCLCC as chairman in their respective constituencies and equal distribution among common publics be given proper.
The oppositions demanded that the guidelines while building good governance the elected representatives should be involved in formation of developmental committees and integration spirits be safe to meet healthy function of the administration.
Mohilary accepting the memorandum said that he will talk with Principal Secretary and officials in bringing new concept of guidelines to bring sharing of power transference among ruling and opposition.He has hoped that the council administration will see good governance through constructive role from oppositions in the house.
He has come down heavily on the issue of Ona Boro concept in BTAD said that it was a conspiracy against Bodos in the region as non-Bodos are stepping aginst Bodos.He has urged all elected members to avoid use of Ona Boro language and held integrated society to gain more developmental spirits.
