Dutta’s date with Sonia

Amid resurfacing dissidence APCC president Anjan Dutta is scheduled to meet Sonia Gandhi to discuss some crucial issues on Tuesday.

Sources told Assam Times that Dutta is likely to seek the party high command’s seal of approval for stern action against the dissident leaders.

Apart from poll strategies, dissidence by Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Balin Kuli, Hiranya Bora are expected to figure in the discussion scheduled at the 10th Janpath on Tuesday afternoon.

Dutta along with chief minister arrived in New Delhi on Monday and attended Sonia Gandhi’s iftar party in the evening.
