Firmly deal with ragging

Universities, schools and colleges will have to bear the brunt if ragging incidents are allowed to take place.

In a recent letter, higher education director P. Jidung asked all the authorities of the schools, colleges and universities to firmly deal with the incidents of ragging.
The authorities will have to submit report on ragging along with steps to deal with the menace during 2014-2015.

State TMC dead opposed to delimitation draft

The TMC Assam unit has opposed the draft delimitation proposal published by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday evening. Seven Engineering Students Died in Accident at Jalukbari

In a tragic road accident that occurred in the Jalukbari area of Guwahati seven engineering students died at spot last night.
