Altogether 42 G2C citizen-centric services are electronically available. That too at a mouse click. Now only you need to visit the http://www.assam.gov.in. These services can be applied for at the public facilitation centres (PFCs) available at DC-SDO-CO offices across the state.
Those who do not have any access to these offices are free to move the common service centres at the door steps. Named as SUGAM, chief minister Tarun Gogoi launched the service at a brief function in Guwahati on Tuesday
E-District is a mission mode project under NeGP for delivery of G2C services for citizens in their locality to be envisaged that electronic delivery of citizen-centric services will ensure efficiency, transparency and reliability at affordable costs to the citizens.
All documents required to be submitted with the application for each service can be seen at the State portal (http://www.assam.gov.in). The list is also displayed at the PFCs.
