ASEB lift Daoharu Mungklong trophy

Assam State Electricity Board(ASEB) from Guwahati defeated Bardwi Shikla SC from Kachugaon 1-0 and lifted the Daoharu Mungklong Trophy in Friday’s final match at the Dotma ground in Kokrajhar.

For ASEB, Sanjoy Boro netted lone goal in 16 minutes and led the team 1-0 in the first half.Bardwi Shikla tried to equalised the match during the match. But he failed and lost to ASEB 0-1 goal. Rahul Das of ASEB was awarded best player and given away cash Rs.5,000 and a trophy.

Assam Football Association president Hemendra Nath Brahma attended the match as chief guest who gave away the prizes comprising championship trophy and Rs.50,000 in cash. Dotma circle officer Garga Mahan Das gave away the runners up trophy and Rs,25,000 in cash. MLA Pradip Kumar Brahma, sports organizer Bakul Chandra Brahma were prominent among those who were present.
