A student of Bodoland University received serious injured when a bike had head on collision with a tractor along the Mwiderkhoro Road near Masjid on Sunday evening in Kokrajhar town. 

According to eye witness, a university student was coming on a bike met head on collided with a tractor from opposite direction and received serious injured on his leg and body. The student was identified as Dwithun Basumatary of Patgaon Bwtiabili, who was immediately rushed to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital. A team of police official rushed the spot to take stock of the incident.

A flag-off ceremony of education study tour of border youth has been organised by 16th Bn SSB Ranighuli at thbattalion headquarter in Kokrajhar on Monday. Tribal organisation oppose ST status to six communities
