The United Peoples Party (UPP) terms that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bodoland visit on Tuesday was dissatisfied as because Modi was silence over announcement of special package to BTAD. 

Urkhao Gwra Brahma, president of UPP while speaking the reporters at Kokrajhar Press Club on Tuesday said that the poll pact agreed in between BPF and BJP would be self damages for the ensuing assembly elections in the state. The alliance would meet a defeat in the election and alliance could not form govt at Dispur at any cost, he  said. 

Brahma also termed Modi's silence over announcement of special to BTAD during his visit was a sign insincerity for the citizen of the region.He said the BJP led NDA government never want development and welfare.Brahma also said that no any indigenous organization are attached with BPF party.

BPF leaves three more seats to BJP

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party. Motor vehicle association warns for non-cooperation in election

The owner and members of the Motor Vehicles in Kokrajhar has warned to take non-cooperation during ensuing Assam assembly election in protest against non-payment of 32 crores of hire charge bills and previous bills of vehicles, which are pending for a long time in the district. The Election Observer for Expenditure for 31-Sidli (ST) LAC Jaginder Singh, IRS on Tuesday arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
