BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary laid foundation stones of Directorate of the Economic & Statistics and Directorate of Labour & Employment office at Baghichagaon, Kokrajhar  on Wednesday. 

The Economic & Statistics office would be constructed at a cost of one crore under 2016-17 financial year while the Labour & Employment office building would be constructed amounting of 1.42 crores under 2016-17 BTC financial year. 

BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary, former minister and MLA Chandan Brahma, BTC executive members Rajib Brahma, Ganesh Kochary were among others present on the function.

BPF leaves three more seats to BJP

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party. Motor vehicle association warns for non-cooperation in election

The owner and members of the Motor Vehicles in Kokrajhar has warned to take non-cooperation during ensuing Assam assembly election in protest against non-payment of 32 crores of hire charge bills and previous bills of vehicles, which are pending for a long time in the district. The Election Observer for Expenditure for 31-Sidli (ST) LAC Jaginder Singh, IRS on Tuesday arrived at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
