BJP-BPF-AGP aliance to win 40 seats in first phase: Hagrama

BPF president Hagrama Mohilary,  who is also BTC chief claimed that the BJP, BPF, AGP alliance i going to win nearly 40 seats in the first phase of Assam assembly held on Monday in the state.

Mohilary, while adddressing an election campaign at Athiabari for Kokrajhar east party candidate Pramila Rani Brahma on Tuesday said that peoples of the state have been supporting BJP, BPF, AGP alliance for a healthy change of social integration in the state.He said that the alliance parties have got peoples’ votes in the first phae of the election as huge turn of voting was recorded in its first phase. He has claimed that the alliance parties have been winning in nearly 40 seats, besides his party has confirmed of winning of three seats in the Udalguri district in the first phase of election.

Mohilary also said that his party and alliance parties are scoring majority seats in the second pahse of election slated to be held on April 11 next. He said that BJP led BPF,AGP alliance party is forming government at Dispur as diffeent community orgnisation and citizens are supporting the alliance parties in the state. He has also predicting said that Congress candidates- Ajanta Neog, Bhupen Bora, Monica Bora, Angkita Dutta were defeated in the first phase of election that held on April 4.

Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary, sitting MLA and Party candidate Pramila Rani Brahma, Derhasat Basumatray,Kokrajhar dsitrict BPF were also present in the meeting.

Meanwhile, UPP president and Kokrajhar west UPP candidate Urkhao Gwra Brahma campaigned for his candiadture at various places in the constituency including Kuntaibari,Gambari, Tipkai, Laodonga where thousands of party supporter and common voters thronged.

Promod Boro, ABSU president, former BTC executive member Mono Kumar Brahma campaigned for UG Brahma at Kuntaibari.Boro said that BPF ruled BTC administration has failed to meet hopes and aspirations of the citizens in the region. The UPP party is contesting in 14 seats of the BTAD region and winning in large numbers of seats is sure, Boro added.

Brahma,in his addressed said that the UPP party has been winning in large number of seats in the election,that is why government would be formed by UPP alliance with Congress at Dispur.He has appealed to all sections of voters to vote for UPP candidates to meet good governance and healthy society in the state.

UG Brahma has claimed that the next government would be formed by UPP in alliance with Congress,no doubt.He said that in the first phase of election that held on Monday,Congress had won large number of seats with peoples supports.He has appealed to vote for UPP candidates in the election.

Apurna Narzary, an international women's football player, has been nominated for the Emerging Player award for 2022-23 by the Sports & Youth Welfare department of the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Narzary has represented India in several international events and is the daughter of Biswajit Narzary of Khagrabari village in Kokrajhar district. The award will be presented to her during the Baokhungri festival celebration at Baokhungri Hill site near Harinaguri in Kokrajhar. Three individuals, including former MLA and senior BPF (Bodoland People's Front) leader Hitesh Basumatary, were arrested by police in Baksa district after a search operation at Basumatary's residential complex resulted in the recovery of a large cache of illegal arms and ammunition.
