Luitpar Club initiative for book reading

Luitpar Club in Narengi Campus of Oil India Limited recently organized a unique initiative for encouraging reading habit among the residents, primarily the young people in the colony. The club supplied various books in Assamese, English, Hindi and Bengali language to the households under Rasaraj Lakshminath Bezbaruah mobile library.

The program was launched by journalist Nava Thakuria on 21 July in presence of Luitpar Club president, its secretary Narayan Majumder, senior members including Padmeswar Kalita, Haren Sarma, Jadav Kalita, Tapas Bhattacharya, Hira Rajbongshi etc.

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court on Friday will decide on thr fate of Rakesh Paul when it is hearing thr bail petition of the APSC chairman who was sent to jail in a fresh case two months back. Justice R Phookan is hearing the bail petition moved on behalf of Paul who even after procuring bail from the Supreme Court was arrested acting on a new bribery case registered in Bhangagarh police station:
GUWAHATI: Apart from 25 officers, more and more officers might face arrest in the APSC scam very soon This was precisely what the investigating officer Surjeet Singh Panersar said on Thursday. NEW DELHI: The uncertainty over the draft of national registrar of citizens refuses to due down if the project nodal officer's report before the Supreme Court is to be believed. Nodal officer of the entire ongoing exercise Pratik Hajela told the apex court bench comprising Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice F Nariman that 123 crore documents are still lying for verification.
