NDFB-S denies couple killing

The Songbijit faction of NDFB has denied their involvement with killing of a couple at Selekhaguri under Runikhata PS in Chirang district on Wednesday night.
BR Ferengga, general secretary of the NDFB-S, in a press statement said that the militant outfit organization was not involved with killing of a couple at Selekhaguri, the allegations levered against them was a fabricated by police administration.'Biren Basumatary and his family had a good communication with us, no any bad relations', Ferengga said.
'It was perpetrated by Assam Police to create bad name among citizens, that is why they have been indulging our name with incident', he said.
The allegation leveled on the organization by police was unfortunate and the militant outfit was not involved with incident, the statement said
