PDMB reitarates Boroland issue

Peoples Democratic Movement for Boroland (PDMB) has urged government of India to make amicable solution to the long standing demand of separate Bodoland state to initiate good governance and healthy integration in the region.

Speaking the reporters at a Press Conference on Thursday held at Prasanti Lodge in Kokrajhar, Jebraram Mushahary,president of the PDMBsaid that Boroland movement is not new one, it has been demanding since long decades for the cause of Boroland statehood, but government has been tactically declining to grant issue and problems of Bodos.

He said that Boroland is the ultimate goal of the Boros and struggle groups for which region has been witnesses of strong mass movement in the state.He has also demanded government of India to resume the suspended tripartite talks between Boroland struggle groups, government of India and government of Assam, which has not been addressed as yet.

He also announces 12-hours proposed Boroland bandh on September 15 next demanding early creation of Boroland homeland.
