The city based Sun Valley hospital will conduct the next ‘Evening with a Doctor’ program at Guwahati Press Club on 22 October 2016. Dr Bikash Bhattacharjee (Diabetology) and Dr Tapan Sarma (Medicine) from the diabetic care institution will be available for free consultations at press club from 4.30 pm. The camp will continue till 7 pm, where the member-journalists of GPC along with their close relatives can also get the opportunity to check their blood pressure and sugar.

Earlier on 15 October, Nemcare hospital conducted the Saturday evening OPD at press club, where Dr Nareswar Barman (Cardiology) and Dr Bikash Kumar Das (Medicine) provided healthcare consultations to the participants. Dr Hitesh Baruah, the chief of Nemcare hospital supervised the weekly clinic. More than 30 participants also got their blood pressure sugar checked by the hospital nurses Sandhya Devi and Sumeya Syed. Hospital executive Biswajit Sarma and Arup Barua supported the program.
