Apollo doctor conducts evening OPD at press club

Dr Madan Mohan Reddy, senior consultant on orthopedic surgery from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai attended the 'Evening with a Doctor' program on Saturday (26 November 2016) at Guwahati Press Club (GPC). Over 25 GPC member-journalists along with their relatives participated in the evening OPD and got free consultations on various ailments like back-neck- knee pain, major fractures, arthritis etc. Apollo’s marketing officer Roopjyoti Baruah assisted in conducting the camp.

The next evening clinic on 3 December at GPC premises will be attended by eye specialists Dr Subhra Kinkor Goswami & Dr Bijuli Goswami of Sight First. The camp will begin at 4 pm and continue till 6 pm for the benefit of GPC member-journalists.

Railway network in Assam is set to get a major boost. A huge flyover connecting Kamakhya to New Guwahati on the river Brahmaputra river is coming up. Disclosing this minister of state for railway, Rajen Gohain to reporters in Guwahati on Saturday that the two lane flyover worth Rs 888 crore bridge would be a huge boost for surface communication.
