Crisis cripples Dima Hasao council

Yet another crisis seems to have paralyzed the functionings of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council where Debolal Garlosa might lose the chair of Chief Executive Member.

A group of 15 council members on Wednesday met Assam Governor BL Purohit to convey the loss of confidence over Garlosa. They formally proposed the name of Prakant Warisa as the Chief Executive Member of the autonomous body.

The Governor is learnt to have listened to them to take necessary step to end the deepening crises.
