The city based Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya will conduct the next Saturday evening OPD at at Guwahati Press Club (GPC) on 21 January. Experienced ophthalmologists namely Dr SS Tomar and Dr Krati Gupta will be available for free eye check & consultations to the members of the press club along with their kids. The camp will begin at 3 pm at press club premises and continue till 5 pm.
Earlier, physicians from Hayat Hospital conducted the 7 January evening clinic, where Dr Anjan Saikia (Gastroenterology), Dr Daboo Patowari (Internal Medicine) and Dr Abhisek Lohia (Dermatology) were present for consultations to GPC members along with their dependents. The hospital authority also announced various concessions in treatment for GPC members with their families on OPD/Doctor Consultation Charges (100%), Room Rent (25%), Lab Investigation (20%), CT/USG/X-Ray (20%), MRI/MR Angiography (20%), EEG, ECG,TMT, HOLTER, ECHO (20%), Colonoscopy & Endoscopy (20%), Operation Theatre Charges (10%) and Medicine (5%).
Till date, practicing physicians from Dispur Hospitals, Down Town Hospitals, GNRC Group of Hospitals, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Wintrobe Hospital, Nemcare Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First eye-clinic, Government Ayurvedic College, Barthakur Clinic, Apollo Hospitals Chennai etc had conducted weekly camps.
The Gurgaon (Haryana) based Medanta-The Medicity Hospital has also consented to conduct the media evening OPD under the ‘Evening with a Doctor’ series on 4 February next, where senior consultant Dr Vinay Singal will be available for consultations on rheumatoid arthritis & clinical immunology to the members of the press club along with their dependents.
