Another Assamese film on the wait

Amid encircling gloom, yet another Assamese film is all set to hit the big screens across the state in a couple of days.

Directed by Kongkon Deka, the film centres around the pathetic story of a youth who sustained grave injury in a bomb explosion. But the real conflict begins after his fiancé left him in the lurch.

This was followed by his sexual dysfunction which remained incurable. Then his mother took the help of a woman who brought bad name on several occasions raising doubts over her chastity. What was the way out?

Named as Beautiful Lives, the film which got clearance from the censor board has the actors including Pakija Begum, Boloram Das, Ashrumoni Bora and Juri Dutta. The film with unusual theme will be released on February 17.
