Death threat to Zubeen!

Zubeen Garg received death threat in social media when the most popular singer was performing in Dibrugarh on Friday.

A Facebook status warning that the singer would be shot dead from a point blank range went viral in the evening forcing the district authority to step up security in the function were the most popular singer was performing.

The threat was posted in the facebook by some Kai Khaplang alias Tultul Baglary who threatened to shot dead the dinger from.10 metre away from him..

He received the death threat hardly a week after he stepped down from a stage in Guwahati for disallowing to perform in Hindi.

World Heart Day observed by Dispur Hospitals

Assam's well known medical institution Dispur Hospitals celebrated World Heart Day on Thursday with a march in the morning for creating awareness about heart ailments. Nearly 100 participants wearing heart day T shirts & raising slogans with placards joined in the walkathan on city streets and tried to aware people about the growing menace of cardio vascular diseases. A rare show of portraits in the city

An exhibition of portraits of many distinguished personalities in water colour at State Art Gallery Guwahati attracted the attention of art connoisseurs on Sunday.
