Zubeen Garg received death threat in social media when the most popular singer was performing in Dibrugarh on Friday.

A Facebook status warning that the singer would be shot dead from a point blank range went viral in the evening forcing the district authority to step up security in the function were the most popular singer was performing.

The threat was posted in the facebook by some Kai Khaplang alias Tultul Baglary who threatened to shot dead the dinger from.10 metre away from him..

He received the death threat hardly a week after he stepped down from a stage in Guwahati for disallowing to perform in Hindi.

An irate mob in Itanagar vandalized dozens of vehicles belonging to police, ministers and MLAs hours after Kalikho Pul was found dead inside his official residence on Tuesday. Pul’s supporters in large number came out to the city streets in the morning and started targeting police men along with ministers and MLAs. An angry mob marched towards Deputy Chief Minister Chow Mein’s residence and ransacked a portion of it alleging his role in the bizarre incident. Pul’s death strikes anger in Itanagar

Violence erupts in Itanagar on Tuesday minutes after Kalikho Pul was found dead inside his residence. His supporters in large number came out to the capital streets and targeted Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein ransacking his official residence. All eyes fixed on Sharmila

Only a few hours is left for Irom Sharmila to break her 16 year long fast demanding immediate repeal of AFSPA. All eyes are fixed on Tuesday morning when the record holder fasting protestor would end her fast at the local court premises in Imphal. Balajan perpetrators yet to be identified

The Centre has yet to confirm the miscreants behind the bloodbath in Balajan where 14 people were killed and 20 others sustained injury in firing and bombing at an open market in Kokrajhar last week. In a statement on Monday, Union home minister Rajnath Singh revealed that investigations were going on to trace down the identity of the perpetrators.
