The ABSU and it's allied movement groups expresses hopeful of fruitful tripartite talks on Bodoland state issue to be held on April 25 at North Block in New Delhi.
A 15 member delegation team of ABSU, PJACBM, NDFBP, UPPL is leaving for Delhi today evening to participate in the tripartite talks over Bodoland state issue to be held on April 25 by 11 am at North Block in New Delhi. The centre has sent their invitation letter to movement groups to hold tripartite talks as ABSU and it's allied movement groups carried out several agitation programmes seeking separate Bodoland state under Article 2 & 3 of the Indian constitution.
Lawrence Islary, ABSU GS told in Kokrajhar, expresses hope of fruitful talks over the Bodoland issue in political level. The students union and its allied movement groups have been carrying several agittaion programmes to put pressure for Bodoland state demands.
‘It is the first time political level talk on Bodoland issue since NDA came into power at centre in 2014’,Islary said. He said that the students union and it's allied movement groups have been expected good outcome through tripartite talks with government.
