Hagrama’s concern over conviction of DHD leaders
BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary expressed concern over conviction of DHD leaders by NIA on Monday. He said that the government should rethink over the judgement while addressing BPF's CWC meet at in Kokrajhar to discuss on party affairs.
Mohilary expressed serious concern over NIA conviction of DHD leaders like Jowel Garlosa, Niranjan Hojai, Mohit Hojai who are going under NIA cases even though they had signed accord with government . He has urged the government to rethink over the conviction of DHD leaders in the NIA court.
‘As DHD leaders had signed accord with government, but today’s conviction judgement was a matter of concern. Government should have exempted them (DHD leaders) from the cases’, Mohilary said.

BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary is well prepared to quit the office if one proves the involvement of former BLT rebels in the assassination of Lafikul Islsm Ahmed. Talking to reporters in Kokrakhar on Wednesday, Mohilary said the ongoing probes by SIT and CBI would be able to negate the speculations. “I am ready to resign as BTC chief if one proves the involvement of the former rebels.”
