Hagrama’s concern over conviction of DHD leaders
BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary expressed concern over conviction of DHD leaders by NIA on Monday. He said that the government should rethink over the judgement while addressing BPF's CWC meet at in Kokrajhar to discuss on party affairs.
Mohilary expressed serious concern over NIA conviction of DHD leaders like Jowel Garlosa, Niranjan Hojai, Mohit Hojai who are going under NIA cases even though they had signed accord with government . He has urged the government to rethink over the conviction of DHD leaders in the NIA court.
‘As DHD leaders had signed accord with government, but today’s conviction judgement was a matter of concern. Government should have exempted them (DHD leaders) from the cases’, Mohilary said.

Kokrajhar police on Wednesday arrested three bike lifters from Chautaki under Salakati police outpost in Kokrajhar district. Identified as Hasmat Ali, Taffizuddin of Abhayapuri and Saheb Ali of Salakati, they were arrested by the Kokrajhar police who registered a case no. 510/16 u/s 379/411IPC.
