Road Mishap in Nagaon, 1 dies
In a road accident that took place at 2.10 pm on August 29 at Morikolong, about 2 km from Nagaon, a person died and 28 others were injured. Among the injured, six are reported to be in critical condition.

The police personel of the Dokmoka outpost on October 12, at around 6.45 am seized approximately 70 kg of ganja from a Diphu to Guwahati bound Karbi Anglong Autonomus Council (KAAC) bus. Police also arrested three persons, identified as Wilto Miju (17), Robert Mizu (32),both hails from Rengkai district of Manipur and Kishore Kumar Singh (40) of Imphal, in this connection. On Tuesday,16 August at around 8.30 am, the Christ Jyoti School of Nagaon was shaken by a phone call that was received by the Father of the school. The phone call created a panic among the Teaching staffs, School authority and the Students community.
