APCC delegation at Salakati

Pouring of political leaders are continuing at the Salakati after the killing of ABMSU President Lafikul Islam Ahmed who was shot dead by unidentified armed miscreants at Titaguri bazar in Kokrajhar on August 1 last.

APCC president Ripun Bora visited Salakati residence of Lafikul on Sunday.

Bora was accompanied by Congress MLAs Serman Ali and AR Mondol. The delegation met Lafikul families. He reiterated CBI inquiry. He also said that the APCC will approach the High Court for monitoring of the investigation.

MLA Serman Ali also demanded early seizure of all illegal arms in the region as reported in the media. He has condemned killing of Lafikul.

A delegation team of BPF minority cell also visited at Salakati residence of Lafikul Islam on Sunday.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) team led by IGP Anurag Tankha has been investigating the sensational murder case. The SIT team visited Salakati on Sunday.

‘Investigation is on into the Lafikul killing case’,Tankha said.
