RVA rebel held in Kokrajhar

 Security forces in Kokrajhar apprehended an ultra belonging to Rabha Vipers Army (RVA) from Kopati in Karigaon on Sunday.

Based on inut about presence of RVA ultras, a joint team of Kazigaon police and 17 Dogra regiment caried out a search operation against the rebels where they arrested RVA ultra. He was identified as Naratam Rabha(31) of Kotkujhora. A revolver and cash Rs. 1960 recovered from him who was involved with extortion and anti-social activities.


‘Police administration has been initiating stern operation against militant outfit organistaion in the region and several members of the outfits were arrested during the operation’, said a senior police official in Kokrajhar.
