CM orders ministers to rehabilitate evicted people

GUWAHATI: Stung by widespread criticism and simmering anger of the landless lot, chief minister Sarbanand Sonowal orders early steps to rehabilitate those evicted in the Amchang wildlife sanctuary, Lakhimpur and Karbi Anglong.

According to sources, Sonowal asked forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma and her cabinet Naba Kumar Doley to ensure early steps to rehabilitate these people.
